Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that, she joined the Bratpack and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over 20 years. Her film debut came by appearing in the crime-drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She was praised. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. Although the film's budget was only $1 million its profits exceeded $50 million. She also began appearing in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was featured. One of her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story featuring a female superhero in which she has a cameo. Sheedy won numerous prizes in 2005 for her performances. She was also awarded an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
